At Jlo's Wax Meltz we only use Rapeseed & Coconut Wax, combined with a fragrance oil to leave your home smelling beautiful.

You may see some imperfections on your handmade Wax Melts. These are common characteristics of Coconut & Rapeseed wax. It does not affect the quality, scent throw or the burning of your Wax Melts.

All Wax Melts are handmade thefore some colours may vary.

How to use.

Remove from packaging, break appropriate size for chosen burner. Place into burner well. As the burner heats up, the wax will begin to warm up and melt, releasing wonderful smells into your home. When the tea light has been extinguished or the burner turned off, the wax will re-harden ready for next use. Unlike candles, wax melts do not evaporate. You can continue to use the wax multiple times, until the scent is gone. When you would like to change your wax melt, the best way to remove the old wax is to start the melting process and after a few seconds you can pop this out of your burner using kitchen roll or cotton wool pads. Dispose of these in a bin.

Important Stuff !!

Always use within sight and never leave unattended. Always ensure that you do not overfill your burner and that your burner states safe to use for wax melts, NOT just for oils. Keep burners and melted wax away from pets and children. DO NOT! eat our wax melts no matter how good they smell - they are toxic if ingested. Never pour melted wax down plug holes. Wax & burner will remain hot after the tea light has been extinguished or the burner switched off. Do not try to move the burner until it has cooled completely, and the wax has hardened. Do not add water or fragrance oils to wax melt. Keep wax and burner clear of debris. Only ever use unscented tea lights as fragrance ones burn too hot. ⚠️ Only use standard sized maximum 4hr tea lights. Never use the larger 8hr tea lights or more than one tealight at a time. as these can cause the burners to break. Never place burner in freezer to help dislodge wax. This can weaken structure of the burner. Ensure that the surface under the wax burner is heat proof. When you buy a new ceramic burner always allow it to come to room temperature before using. Using a cold burner can cause the well to crack from the heat of the tea light - this then becomes a huge fire risk 🔥.
